SBB unit Sveafastigheter plans listing in Stockholm (updated)

(Adds details from paragraph 2)
Sept 24 (Reuters) - Swedish residential real estate
group Sveafastigheter intends to list its shares on the Nasdaq
First North Premier Growth Market in Stockholm, the company,
owned by the troubled landlord SBB SBBb.ST , said on Tuesday.
It said up to 49% of its shares would be offered to the
public, and SBB's shareholders would be given a priority to
acquire the stock.
Sveafastigheter, which owns apartments in Sweden worth 27.5
billion Swedish crowns ($2.7 billion), said it expects its
shares to be listed in the last three months of 2024.
SBB, which took over Sveafastigheter in 2020, had considered
an initial public offering for the unit already in 2023, as it
was facing mounting debt amid soaring interest rates.
($1 = 10.1849 Swedish crowns)
